The yoga class consists of sun salutation sequences (dynamic yoga practise), static yoga poses (holding the poses), breathing techniques and relaxation. In this class you will practise traditional Hatha yoga and we will work with gentle Vinyasa. Vinyasa yoga is a flowing form of yoga where the postures are linked together in a sequence. It is a combination of breath to movement. Every class ends with deep relaxation in Shavasana pose, leaving the students in a refreshed, energized and relaxed state.
Yoga works on all aspects of the person: the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. From the physical body, yoga moves on to the mental and emotional levels. Many people suffer from phobias and neuroses as a result of the stresses and interactions of everyday living. The aim of asana (yoga pose) is to release these knots. You will feel strong, stretched and relaxed walking out of this class. It is good class to explore the foundation of yoga.
